The Essential Guide To Guitar Virtuosity is not your typical guitar instructional ebook. It is not a theory book, or how to build guitar solos from scales, rather it is a guitar exercise training ebook.

Jeff Isbell knows I …
Jeff Isbell knows I like Keith Urban so he told me to check out your videos. He said you sing well. I agree! You really commit to the song. Most people, even famous ones don’t get that. Good job.

What I suggest for …
Sorry I offended. Grouchy young dude.
What I suggest for you is that you make some videos and post them here so we can all see what a perfect video is like. Seriously though, I’m not being mean at all, but enough people got that impression that it is clear to me I should have tried a different approach. I thought I was being funny, like a fake scolding – wagging my finger

The word is spelled …
The word is spelled “douche”. By the way, you might want to consider if this is really the way you want to speak to someone who is giving you something for free. That aside, yes you are right. My lowered guitar tuning was a mistake. Will suicide suffice?

He does explain …
He does explain earlier that his lessons are more for an intermediate player. If you guys are having trouble with his videos, perhaps you should start with something aimed more at beginners.
I did get kind of confused by the fact that either his guitar or the video is out of tune..

I like Jeffs method …
I like Jeffs method of teaching alot. He gets straight to it, no mucking about with technical crap.
Anyways, can someone help me with this lesson? I am learning the half notes on the top string, but when I get to what is supposed to be B# or the 8th fret, it sounds like it should be a C.
I didn’t watch the first lesson, maybe it was mentioned there?

He’s probably tired …
He’s probably tired of trying to teach Bozos how to play who want to be rock stars without practicing. Just go strum 3 cords until you develop some calluses and then he’ll be nicer when he sees that you are for real.

I replied to this before but it didn’t show up. Sorry if I was grouchy. I’ll let you in on a secret. I had really itchy sinuses that day and was on anti-histamines. They make me grouchy sometimes. STILL, you do have to learn this stuff to progress. So, hop to! Good luck and have fun.
