    Yeah when I was first starting out barre chords were so difficult for me. This is an awesome exercise.

    The only advice I would add to this is practice on an acoustic guitar if you can, that way when you’re playing on electric it’ll seem even easier! If you start out on those soft electric strings, when the time to play something acoustic comes your fingers might not have the strength..

    Yeah on the B chord mute the low E with the tip of your first finger and thne press down on the 4th fret with your 3rd finger – press the D,G, and B strings

    Hi David, I’ve never seen your way to play that B major bar chord… Is your third finger pressing down all the first 4 strings, while your pinky is muting the first?

    I usually take the ‘A-major shape’ up 2 frets and use my first finger to bar on the 2nd fret, but this one looks easier, especially on higher on the fretboard!
