The Essential Guide To Guitar Virtuosity is not your typical guitar instructional ebook. It is not a theory book, or how to build guitar solos from scales, rather it is a guitar exercise training ebook.

Yeah when I was …
Yeah when I was first starting out barre chords were so difficult for me. This is an awesome exercise.
The only advice I would add to this is practice on an acoustic guitar if you can, that way when you’re playing on electric it’ll seem even easier! If you start out on those soft electric strings, when the time to play something acoustic comes your fingers might not have the strength..

Hi David, I’ve never seen your way to play that B major bar chord… Is your third finger pressing down all the first 4 strings, while your pinky is muting the first?
I usually take the ‘A-major shape’ up 2 frets and use my first finger to bar on the 2nd fret, but this one looks easier, especially on higher on the fretboard!
